To keep your jewelry looking its best, we recommend using a non-toxic jewelry cleaner at least once a month. Ensure thorough drying and rinsing after cleaning to prevent any residue buildup. The frequency of cleaning depends on your lifestyle and usage patterns. We've partnered with Shinery to offer an exceptional jewelry cleaner in our store. This cleaner is not only effective for permanent jewelry but also suitable for maintaining all your other precious pieces. With regular care and attention, your permanent jewelry will continue to shine bright for years to come.
How long does it last?
Your permanent jewelry is designed to last for as long as you desire, whether it's weeks, months, or even years. However, it's essential to remember that while bonded Permanent Jewelry is crafted for everyday wear, it remains fine jewelry and isn't indestructible. To ensure its longevity, it's important to take extra precautions to prevent snagging or catching on clothing. Our policy reflects our commitment to customer satisfaction: within the first 60 days, bring your piece back to us, and we'll repair and re-weld it free of charge. However, beyond this initial period, we can't guarantee a replacement if the chain breaks due to normal wear and tear, as lifestyle conditions are beyond our control. Is it real Gold?

That's why we offer a range of chain options to suit every need and price point. Our selection includes sterling silver, 14k gold, and gold-filled chains. It's important to note that gold-filled jewelry isn't the same as gold plated. While gold plated pieces may tarnish and lack waterproofing, gold-filled jewelry maintains its durability and shine. Gold-filled jewelry is still classified as real gold because it consists of a gold alloy surrounding a base metal. However, it's not comprised entirely of 100% real gold, as it incorporates a base metal for added strength and longevity.
Can you travel with permanent jewelry?
Absolutely! You can fly with your permanent jewelry worry-free. It's TSA safe, so you won't encounter any issues. Our founder, who travels frequently, can attest to this firsthand, having had no problems in the past year. TSA doesn't require you to remove fine jewelry during security checks, which means you can bring your permanent jewelry along on all your adventures without any hassle. How long does the process take?
The welding process itself is incredibly quick, typically just a matter of seconds. However, we recommend planning for your appointment to last around 15-20 minutes to ensure everything is perfect. This time allows for proper sizing, ensuring the right fit for your permanent jewelry, and ensuring a secure weld that will stand the test of time. We value your time and want to ensure that every aspect of your experience with us is meticulously handled for your utmost satisfaction.
Does it hurt?
Not at all! Our process ensures a pain-free experience from start to finish. We utilize a high-quality micro welder to delicately join your chain together by welding a small jump ring closed. To ensure your comfort and safety, we provide a protective leather piece to shield your skin during the procedure. As the weld is executed, it emits a bright light, so we offer the option of wearing darkened safety glasses or simply looking away. Rest assured, the process is swift, painless, and even enjoyable! You'll be left with a stunning claspless bracelet, beautifully crafted and ready to adorn your wrist effortlessly.
What if I want to take it off?
While we hope you'll cherish your custom chain for years to come, we understand that circumstances may arise where you wish to remove it temporarily. Not to worry! You can easily take it off anytime by cutting the jump ring with a pair of kitchen scissors. Just a simple snip, and your bracelet will be free. We recommend saving your chain so that if you ever decide to re-wear it, it can be re-welded later. So, whether you're looking to switch up your style or just need a break, the process of removal is straightforward, ensuring flexibility and ease whenever you need it.
What is a re-weld?
A re-weld refers to the process of reattaching your permanent bracelet after it has been removed. Even though your permanent bracelet can be easily taken off with a pair of kitchen scissors by cutting the jump ring, you can preserve it for future use by storing it in a sealed plastic bag. When you're ready to wear it again, you can have it re-welded, which means the jump ring will be welded back together to form the bracelet. It's important to note that your permanent chain doesn't have to be from Gilded Whisper for us to assist you with re-welding. We're happy to help regardless of where you obtained your jewelry. Pricing for re-welding varies depending on the material of the jump ring, and please be assured that a new jump ring will be used for every re-weld to ensure the quality and integrity of your bracelet.
Do you do private events?
Absolutely! We are thrilled to host private events, regardless of their size. Whether you're planning a big celebration or an intimate gathering, we're here for it. Currently, we are accepting bookings for events in the Northern Colorado and Denver Metro areas.
To secure your spot, there is a non-refundable booking fee of $75, which will be credited towards your jewelry total. We do require a minimum of 4 guests to attend to ensure a lively and enjoyable experience for everyone.
As a special perk, when there are 5 sales made at your party, the host receives a complimentary bracelet or anklet with their choice of Gold Filled or Silver chain—a little thank-you from us for hosting a fabulous event!
Please note that we don't allow pre-purchase of chains as we rotate our selection each month. We believe in providing you with a custom bracelet that stands out and reflects your unique style.
